Quibi: 2 Weeks later
So it's been about 2 weeks since Quibi landed on the market. I watched a few shows on it and then made my initial review saying it wasn't really worth it. Two weeks later and that opinion hasn't changed. In fact I've actually not watched anything else on Quibi.
The shows were pretty high production value, and I was particularly interested in "Survive" but I just couldn't bring myself to watch the show on my phone. Whenever I had a few minutes to spare I much preferred to do anything else over watching Quibi. I got the daily updates of new episodes but I just never watched them.
It doesn't seem like I'm alone with this either. If you go on Twitter and search Quibi you'll see that not many people are talking about it anymore. Yea, there's still the "influencers" who are putting the Quibi marketing money to use, but the bulk of users seem to have let Quibi fall by the wayside. At this time it doesn't appear that Quibi is a publicly traded company so monitoring it's stock prices isn't a viable way to determine it's success.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens with Quibi, especially once they run out of their preprepated content that can be released daily.
